The recent fine weather saw me out and walking a lot more than normal. When I walk I use
Map My Walk app to keep a record of how far I've walked and my average speed. The other day I finished my walk and Siri ( or her cousin) announced
You have walked 3.28 miles and your average pace was 17:59 mins/ mile.
I was pleased with myself as I got into my car and put my phone on the charging mat. Then off I set for home.
After 10 minutes Siri's voice filled the car again and she gasped
You have walked 13 miles and your average speed is 1 min/mile.
I had forgotten to turn off the app and now Siri was about to self combust as I had just achieved a one minute mile!
Needless to say I saved the workout and this month's stats will show a huge improvement.
In other news I have just qualified for this summer's Olympic Games in Paris.
