I was heading to the cinema the other night to see It Ends with Us. I gave myself a final check in the mirror before I left and I have to admit I was pleased with what I saw. I had gotten my hair done earlier that day and I was looking good for my age, even if I do say so myself!
I handed over my £11,50 for my ticket and I was very surprised when the young one at the till said
"That'll be £9.50."
I was pleased with myself as I walked away as I figured I'd saved a whole £2. That is until I looked at my ticket.
It said
OAP
WTF. Do I look 65? I know I'm retired but I took early retirement, the emphasis on the word "early"
So I saved £2 but my self esteem is now bankrupt.
