Maybe I was a bit too hasty....

 When I was retiring I was taken aback to learn that the top recommendation for retirees was KNITTING!

Now I can purl one, knit one with the best of them but I was horrified to think that that was how I was going to spend the rest of my days, so I immediately dismissed that suggestion.....until now.

I have just read that an 86 year old Irish woman has become famous for knitting all the jumpers worn on the set of The Banshees of Inisheerin. She only took up knitting when she was widowed.

All I'll say on the matter is......

 I'll happily knit a jumper for Colin Farrell if he so wishes!
